| The aim of this book is to put man back at the center of interest in the medical world and, thanks to sophrology, to situate him in a positive way in relation to a sophisticated, expensive, often hostile medical environment which, by putting illness on a pedestal, has degraded the sick man, making him lose his personality, his identity and his dignity. It is not only the work of an informed doctor, it is also and above all that of a thinker who understood that man, while being a tiny part of the universe, must be the center of the concerns of any practitioner worthy of the name. Sophrology is a link between the body, the mind and the brain, an indicator that allows us to find the paths that lead us far from the misdeeds of a civilization of technocrats who sacrificed the simple happiness of man to the efficiency of the human machine. Sophrology is not only a curative method and an interesting philosophy. It is much more: an effective prophylactic and preventive medicine, a method to be taught to young people, adults, healthy people and sick people alike - a method that allows people to lead a balanced, healthy and happy life, and then to die one day, with a smile. |
