An original way to discover Brittany... Neither a catalogue nor a philatelic treatise, Brittany by stamps aims to be an aesthetic and fun journey to discover an exceptional territory, its history, its heritage and its vital forces. The stamp becomes a pretext to set off in search of all the facets of this country with its often unsuspected riches. There are naturally stamps showing particular aspects of Brittany, whether well-known or more original geographical sites, personalities, the great moments attached to its history. But there are also all the more generic stamps which are as many invitations to discovery: a stamp on communication will open a door to the local press, another on the resistance and it is the whole history of the Breton maquis which parade, and another evoking a flower or a specific animal will show the local flora or fauna.
