Already known since 1964 for his series Les 4 As created with Georges Chaulet, François Craenhals, a long-time enthusiast of the Middle Ages, launched Chevalier Ardent in 1966. Immediately adopted by readers of the Tintin magazine where his adventures appeared, the character quickly became a classic of medieval-inspired comics. François Craenhals would bring his adventures to life until the 2000s in around twenty albums, all published by Casterman. This important work, whose storyline bounces from album to album, is now the subject of a new edition in the form of a vintage-inspired complete collection in 6 volumes. Each volume, with a pagination of more than 200 pages and accompanied by an unpublished file by Stéphane Caluwaerts, brings together 4 volumes of the adventures of Chevalier Ardent. Volume 6 will be devoted to all the short stories. The whole collection benefits from a presentation that is both vintage and renovated: rounded spine, new cover designs, revived colors...
