Farmers today feel unloved and misunderstood. Pesticide use, intensive farming, green algae, there is no shortage of controversial issues. This climate of distrust, even violence, fuels the malaise of farmers, one of the professions that sees the most suicides. In other words, farmers today feel like victims of systematic agribashing. What exactly are we talking about? Who are the protesters? Why have we reached such a point of incomprehension between rural and urban dwellers?
