Australia, 19th century, while returning home on a stormy night, a farmer discovers a dying woman stuck under a tree. Before dying, the latter implores him to save her child, whom she holds in her arms for a few more moments. Georgie, because that is the name of this little girl, has just found a second family. It is without suspecting the secret of her birth that she will grow up surrounded by her brothers Abel and Arthur. Mischievous, she then lives happy days, even if she does not always understand the severity of her new mother. But the past will soon resurface.
