Yoga has become so widespread in the last twenty years that it is now much more widely known than actually understood.
Presenting the Science of Yoga by restoring it to its authentic context and clearly expressing the goals sought by those who were its creators is becoming a necessity today: these goals are surprisingly much more ambitious than the search for better physical shape or momentary well-being.
What had been intuitively perceived by the Rishis (seers) of ancient India, and then realized by the Yogins, is nothing less than the capacity to remain CONSCIOUS during the states of existence usually undergone by:
WAKE, DREAM, SLEEP, FADE, AND DEATH!
In order to live this constantly, the Masters have developed training methods which gradually lead the practitioner to a more serene experience and to a blossoming of his capacity for action.
